As life passes there are experiences we expect but do not look forward to. Experiences for which we can never be prepared. With heavy hearts and great sadness this past week we traveled to Arkansas for the funeral of L. Kay Waldron, Doug's father. We loved him dearly and will miss his constant presence but will cherish the individual and collective memories we have. He was an honored patriarch who built a sure foundation of faith and strength upon which all future Waldron generations will stand. We are grateful for the eternal nature of families and look forward to the time we will all be together again.
We're a large, happy family of 25. Doug and I are proud parents of 8 great kids! Kirk, Chris, Ryan, Jason, Bryce, Kelsey, Kyle and Hailey. We love our sweet daughter-in-laws and son-in-law: Alicen (Kirk), Sara (Chris), Nancy (Ryan), Janessa (Jason), Alyssa (Bryce) and Mark (Kelsey). We adore our cute grands: Christopher (age 5), Brooklyn (age 3), Tyson (age 3), Warner (age 2), Matthew (age 2), Raglan (age 1), Isabelle (10 months), Kaydence (5 months), Brian (4 months) and grandbaby #10 expected spring 2015.
"Here on earth we strive to become part of extended families with the ability to form our own part of those families. This is one of the reasons our Heavenly Father sent us here"
