Kyle enters double digits!

While I was busy with the usual day-to-day comings and goings Kyle suddenly reached double digit age!  How could this happen?  Yesterday he was a little boy and now . . . well he's just not!  In recent months his obvious frustrations remind me to adjust the picture in my head of him to preteen.  We're in that no man's land now, that in-between place where he doesn't need me but he does.  Hang on Kyle we'll get through it!  Look what a cutie he is!

 That's 10, just count 'em, 10!  Happy Birthday Kyle!

We had an awesome birthday party on April Fools.  Here's his gang of friends!  Fun stuff!

We had them all night long and I realized there are many things I had forgotten about 10 year old boys!  The most pronounced . . . they don't wait for a buddy to finish a sentence before starting a more exciting and impressive sentence of their own . . . they just talk louder!  By the time the 9th guy begins his sentence the decible level begins to lift the roof!  Going to be a great experience watching these mini-men grow up together!

Sweet Baby Girl!

She's here! Sweet grandbaby #2 arrived January 29th! Brooklyn Kae was 7 lb. 12 oz. and 20 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful! Check out Chris and Sara's blog (link on the right) for the first pictures. Welcome, sweet little angel Brooklyn!

It's going to be a wonderful year!

Wow! Along with the expected, the birth of Chris and Sara's new little girl in February and Bryce's return from his mission this November, we got some wonderful surprises at Christmas time!

Kirk and Alicen are expecting their first baby in August!!

AND, Ryan and Nancy are ENGAGED!!

It's going to be an exciting and wonderful new year!! We are so blessed!!
