Happy Halloween

Halloween became a whole weekend of fun this year. Friday's elementary school parade to the retirement center and class party started it off for Kyle. "Pocahontas" and I went along for the fun. I think the stroller and I have paraded to Carmel Village Retirement Center most years for the past 15 years! Heading out the door to the school Hailey giggled, "I just love this!"

We do "Trunk-or-Treat" at the church every year but this year it replaced our "Trick-or-Treating" because Halloween would fall on Sunday. That meant Halloween fun for Saturday too! Ryan and Nancy came over to share their costume creations with us too.

For a quiet Sunday Halloween, after church and a rest we carved pumpkins and ate our traditional Halloween stew. Kyle and Hailey had fun racing each other to the door to hand out generous handfuls of candy to the trick-or-treaters! It was a nice family day and a happy Halloween!
